Bangalore: There is good news for all those laptop buyers who were postponing their plans to buy the refreshed models with Intel’s new Ivy Bridge processor. Intel launched its high-performing quad-core Ivy Bridge chips two months ago for gamers and media enthusiasts. The Intel inspired ultrabooks are now getting refreshed with this new and advanced chip. Here are the new sleek and speedy ultrabooks which are Ivy Bridge contingent. If you are not a Windows guy, Apple has also incorporated quad-core Intel chip in its next-gen Macbook Air.

Fujitsu LifeBook U772

LifeBook U772 is the most advanced and high-end version of the two Ivy Bridge Ultrabooks which the company launched earlier this month. The ultrabook is meant for business users as it is clocked with enterprise-friendly features like optional TPM chip for data encryption, port replicator connector for docking purposes, and an option for 4G/3G wireless broadband. Fujitsu claims that this is the slimmest ultrabook in the market measuring only 15.6mm at its thickest point. The device is also very light weight when compared to other 14-inch ultarbooks, it weighs just 1.45kg.

Key Specifications: LifeBook U772 is a 14-inch Ultrabook which is powered 2GHz Intel Core i7 3667U, Intel HD Graphics 4000, has 8GB of internal memory, 128GB SSD hard drive and come with  Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
