LG To Launch LG L90 With Android 4.4 KitKat


BANGALORE: LG is planning to launch Smartphones with Android 4.4 KitKat under L series III range. The first one among the list LG L90 is to be launched by this week.  The others in the series are L70 and L40 of which much information is unknown. The South Korean manufacturer have included KnockON feature to the handset allowing you to unlock by repeatedly knocking on its screen reports NDTV Gadgets.

According to the manufacturer L90 is the first in the series to offer the feature which is an evolution of the KnockON feature introduced in LG G2. LG had already expanded its 'L' series even before MWC 2014 by introducing three new third-generation devices, named LG L90, L70 and L40.

The gadget features a 4.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 540x960 pixels. Beneath the hood is a 1.2GHz quad-core snapdragon processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device comes with 8GB of in-built memory which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of Micro-SD card slot. On the optical front L90 houses an 8MP rear and a 1.3MP front facing unit. A 2540mAH removable battery is included to provide uninterrupted power supply for the device.
