Bangalore: LG is coming up with a new Smartphone with Window Phone 7.5 (Mango) OS named as ‘Fantasy’ (for the time being). The information about this new device is leaked from a XDA forum member who bought a prototype of this device in Romania. This new LG gadget seems to have 4" IPS screen, Microsoft’s latest mobile OS, an 8 megapixel camera along with a single-core Snapdragon chip. Mystery still prevails about its internal storage and other customer applications.
Nothing is quite certain about this new device and its specifications. The Romanian tester who possesses this device states that it is expected to lunch in the first quarter of 2012. As this is a prototype there are chances that we will never see this device in the market.
The best places were LG will be showcasing this new entrant into the Smartphone world would be CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in January or MWC (Mobile World Congress) in February. If this LG ‘Fantasy’ comes alive there will be a big time competition with other handsets running on Window Phone 7.5 (Mango) like HTC ‘Titan’, Samsung ‘Omnia W’ and Nokia ‘Lumia 800’.
