LG Optimus Black hits the Indian market


Bangalore: South Korean electronic major LG has announced the launch of the slimmest android phone LG Optimus Black in India. It has a four inch LCD display of 480X800 Pixels resolution with NOVA technology (touch screen). For optimal visibility, the NOVA display of this mobile, claim to be the brightest and most readable mobile screen with 700 nits of brightness. This device has a weight of 109 grams as the panel is made of plastic. The back of the black is charcoal grey, shiny and is rectangular in shape which many says is an imitation of iPhone. It comes with two cameras - 5.0 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 2592X1944 pixels, video, geo tagging and a secondary camera 2.0 mega pixels. They have several features like social networking integration, digital compass, document viewer, data modes 3G, GPRS, EDGE, HTML Internet browsing, expandable Memory up to 32 GB, micro/SD card slot, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, high speed 3G connectivity, Wireless LAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Wi-Fi direct. The price makes this phone more appealing as the cost of this in India is 19, 990. This phone has already hit the markets of Japan and has made a huge demand. It has cool gesture controls which makes this phone an eye candy. The device is now available online and will reach stores in the days to come.
