LG Adds GX, A 5.5 Full HD Phablet To Its Successful G Series


Bangalore: With the increase in demand for Smartphones, all leading manufacturers are coming up with exciting handsets back to back. LG which is riding on the success of G2, G Pro and G Flex, has added an interesting twist to its growing G series list with LG GX, which was launched in South Korea recently. The 5.5-inch full HD 1080p IPS display phablet runs on an unspecified Jelly Bean mobile OS.

Under the hood it packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor which runs at a unspecified clock speed and is coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The device comes with 32 GB of internal memory which is non expandable.

 The 13MP auto focus rear facing camera with a LED flash offers a 1080p video recording capability and there is a 2.1 MP front camera together add to amazing photo experience.  GX comes with 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity options fueled by 3,140 mAh battery.

The new LG Smartphone has shared many similar features of its premier launch G2 and LG Optimus G Pro .It comes with Preloaded apps like KnockOn Pause and Resume Recording,  QSlide, QuickMemo and QTranslator . It also features Q Remote for streaming content to TV or set top box over Wi-Fi. The Smartphone will be available in black and white colours. LG’s plans on launching the device in other international markets and India are not yet disclosed.
