LAVA A16: A Phone for the MTV Generation

Bangalore: LAVA Partners with MTV to launch its Lava A16 MTV Phone which is specially designed for the MTV generation. Lava A16 has a fashionable back cover and soft contours for easy handling; an animated Graphical User Interface (GUI) with multiple wallpapers & themes in addition to a 3.2MP camera with LOMO effect, the phone is loaded with a 2.6" IPS screen which provides high-resolution widescreen viewing.

The multimedia experience is complemented by its integrated Yamaha PA system, live wallpapers and multiple themes. The earphones come with SRS WOW HD experience and dedicated controls on the earphones allow its user to control the music without fiddling with the handset. The phone is equipped with a good social networking application like Facebook. It also has privacy features designed to protect privacy by locking the SMS and pictures enabling more flexibility and control to the user. 

Commenting on the launch Mr.S. N. Rai, Director- Lava International Ltd., said, "Consumers are a fragmented lot, either they are considered to be tech-leaders / tech-savvy users or they primarily use their phones to stay connected and look good while doing so.
