Kobian Unveils 5 inch Dual-SIM Android Phone for 12700


Bangalore: Kobian an IT peripherals company which sells mobiles phones with the brand name Mercury have launched a new 5 inch dual SIM Android phone named Mercury magiQ.

The handset looks like a smartphone but it is called a tablet. Maybe to make things less complicated we can call this gadget a phablet!

The device as already mentioned comes with a 5 inch capacitive with multi-touch features and it functions on an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor and backed by a 512 MB RAM. MagiQ comes with an internal memory of 4 GB and has a microSD card that allows for up to 32 GB expandable memory.

It comes with both front and a rear camera. It has a VGA front camera and a rear camera that boasts of 12 mega pixels resolution.  The phone boasts of 15 days back battery back up and up to 13 hours of talk time.

Mercury MagiQ is priced at a very affordable price of 12,700. The phone is looking to compete with Micromax A100 and Spice Stellar Horizon Mi500.
