Karbonn Launches Titanium X, A 5-Inch Full-HD Screen Smartphone


Bangalore: Titanium X, the new flagship Smartphone by Karbonn, has been launched at 18,490. The phone got attention of the consumers when the demotic handset maker released its teaser images on the company’s website in November.

The phone sports a 5 inch full HD IPS screen at 1080x1920 resolutions and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Another specialty of the phone; it comes with NFC support, and Titanium X is the first budget Smartphone from the Indian manufacturer to sport the feature.  

The Smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The combination can enable smooth navigation across the phone. It comes with 16 GB of inbuilt memory, which can be farther expanded to 32 GB via microSD card. Titanium X packs 2300 mAh battery, which as the company claims, can deliver up to 6 hours of talktime, and up to 240 hours of standby time. The handset also comes with host of sensors such as proximity sensor, G sensor, magnetic sensor, gyro sensor, and light sensor. And unlike Karbonn’s most other handsets, Titanium X sports a single SIM.

Though the handset packs impressive specs, especially full HD screen and NFC, it can face a tough competition from Micromax Canvas Turbo, which packs quite a similar specs.
