Jelly Bean Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, 7.0


Bangalore: Samsung is busy making sure that all their much loved devices receive the upgrade to the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.  

The next gadget from Samsung that received the upgrade is the Galaxy Tab 2 tablet. But as of now only the Wi-Fi enabled gadgets would be entitled to receive the upgrade and the 3G variants will have to wait for a while longer.

As of now France is the only country that received the updates. But according to sources the rest of the countries shall soon receive the upgrade as well.

The upgrade will be available in both the options of Over The Air (OTA) and also through Samsung Kies desktop software.

The Galaxy Tab 2 comes with 7 inch PLS LCD capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 600 X 1024 pixels. It is powered by 1 GHz Dual-core processor and backed by 1 GB of RAM. The gadget comes in three memory variants; 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB. Along with this it also comes with a microSD slot that allows users to expand the memory up to 32 GB.
