Intex launches new projector phone V.Show Mini Theater IN 8809

Bangalore: Intex has launched the V.Show Mini Theater IN 8809, its second projector phone for 6,300. The new phone is the successor to the 3.2-inch touchscreen projector phone - V.Show 8810 that Intex launched in November last year. Spice had recently launched the Popkorn Projector M9000 mobile phone with an inbuilt projector. But unlike Popkorn, the IN 8809 doesn't offer analog TV. It is capable of reading Office documents and a 3.5 mm jack allows user to connect external speakers while projecting. A dua-SIM (GSM+GSM) quad-band phone, IN 8809 also includes EDGE and GPRS connectivity. It has a 2.4 inch 262K color QVGA screen and a 2 MP camera rests at the back. It supports various video formats including 3GP and AVI, MP3 player with FM radio with scheduled recording and stereo Bluetooth. The IN 8809 comes with 87MB internal memory that is expandable up to 16GB via microSD card. With support for social networking, and including a motion sensor and mobile tracker, the phone supports Hindi language too, in addition to English. It has a 1000 mAh battery that supports talk time up to 3.5 hours and standby time up to 168 hours.
