Intex launches India's Cheapest Smartphone Cloud FX


BANGALORE: Intel unveils its cheapest Smartphone Cloud FX with a price tag of 1990. The phone will be made available only on Snapdeal and the company plans to target the tier 2 and tier 3 cities, reports India TV.

The Cloud FX smartphone sports a 3.5 inch touch screen display with a resolution of 480x 320 pixels. Details of the phone chipset are not out as yet, the phone is supposed to be powered by a 1GHz processor along with a 128 MB of RAM on it. On the camera side, the phone packs in a 2 mega pixel rear camera and there are no details of a front facing one.

The internal memory on the phone is 46 MB and has a support for the memory expansion up to 4GB with a Micro SD card. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Micro USB, Bluetooth and many more.

The phone is powered by a 1250 mAh battery which delivers a talk time of 4 hours and a total standby time of 200 hours.

According to the financial express, Keshav Bansal, director marketing at Intex Technologies, “Our motto is to empower every Indian with the latest technology. We must understand that 70 per cent of Indian mobile phone users are still using feature phones and they aspire for a Smartphone”.
