Idea Launches Budget Dual-SIM 3G Smartphone

Bangalore: Idea has launched a new smartphone into the market thus increasing the Idea family. The new 3G Android smartphone has been christened as Idea Aurus with a price tag of 7,190. This is the fourth smartphone from Idea.

The phone is already available in all the electronic retails stores across the nation.

The smartphone Idea Aurus comes with a 3.5 inch capacitive multi-touch display which supports a resolution of 320 X 480 pixels. The phone will function on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It is powered by an 800MHz processor and a 1300mAh battery. The device has a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera as well for video calling.

The phone comes with a slot for a microSD card which allows the memory to be expanded up to 32 GB and it comes with a 4 GB internal memory. The phone also comes with pre loaded apps like Idea TV, Idea Mall and YouTube. Social networking apps on the smartphone include Facebook, Twitter. The phone provides a slot for another SIM as it is a Dual SIM Smartphone.

This is not the first dual SIM from Idea, their ID-918 was also one.
