Huawei Unveils 3 New Smartphones at IFA 2012


Bangalore: On September 2, 2012, at the IFA event, Berlin Germany, Huawei launched three new Android smartphones. The three phones; Ascend G600, Ascend G330 and Ascent Y201 Pro according to the company will make use of their own interface which is called ‘Emotion’.  The company also said that the smartphones will be available only in select market by September 2012.

Out of all the three new smartphones from Huawei, Ascend G600 is the high end handset. This smartphone will be powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm dual core processor which is also backed by a 768 MB of RAM. The device has a 4.5 inch smartphone which has an IPS display and a resolution of 960 X 540 pixels. The phone functions on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Ascend G600 has an 8 mega pixel rear camera.  

It comes with 4 GB internal memory and it also has a microSD slot that allows the user to expand the memory up to 32 GB. It also comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and DLNA connection. The handset is also equipped to provide access to Near Field Communication (NFC). To power all this, the smartphone runs on a 1930 mAh battery.
