Here Is A First Glance At The Asus ZenWatch

BENGALURU: Asus first displayed the ZenWatch at IFA in September and the company is rolling out the wearable device in all the markets by making it available in India by the first quarter of 2015. In India, the company showcased the watch along with its new PadFone mini smartphone-tablet hybrid. So, let’s take a look at the Android wear device from Asus as compiled by the Times of India.

# Design

The Asus Zenfone falls in the same good looks as the Moto 360 with its classy brown stitched-leather strap, 2.5 display curved glass display and quick Asus Zenwatch release clasp. Though, the smartwatch has a square watch face, the brushed chrome finish around the bezel and the rounded corners give it a very premium look. As far as the thickness is concerned, it ranges between 7.6 to 9.4mm as the watch is curved and the watch weighs 50grams.

# Features

The ZenWatch comes with a water and dust resistant coating and also a heart rate monitor and pedometer. Here is the interesting part; the Smartwatch comes with a tiny power button at the back for turning off the watch too.

It sports a 1.63-inch AMOLED display with a 320x320p screen resolution. The display is very good with super fine viewing angles and brightness levels.
