Bangalore: HTC, one of the leading manufacturers in Smartphones and tablets is said to be working on a new phone, HTC 606w that features an UltraPixel camera and a 4.3-inch screen. According to ThinkDigit reports, the company is working on a new Android Smartphone, which was previously rumored as HTC M4.

The leaked reports reveal that it was recently approved by the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Centre in China. The device is said to have powered with dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor along with Adreno 305 graphics chip paired with a relatively large 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.1. It is also said to feature a 4.3 inch 720p display as well as includes connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS.

Even though there’s hardly any information about microSD slot for expansion, the handset will have an on-board storage of 16GB.  It is speculated that the Ultrapixel camera of the device will be based on a 1.6 megapixel sensor which will allow capturing great quality images. Besides, there also talks about the phone wielding a dual-SIM configuration that could be pegged as a competitor to Samsung Galaxy Grand. The phone is expected to ship in China in the coming weeks and witness a global rollout soon.
