HTC to Launch Two Tablets and Smartphones


Bangalore: HTC is holding an event on this September 19 in New York to showcase their new products. After big announcement from the tech giants like Nokia, Amazon, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft and Motorola now the gadget world is looking forward for HTC and its event.

According to CNET, HTC is expected to showcase at least two tablets in their event on September 19. One tablet is expected to be HTC Flyer successor and will feature 7 inch screen with a resolution of 1280x768 pixels, powered with Snapdragon S4 processor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system along with HTC Sense user interface. This tablet will also features digital pen, 3 mega pixel camera at the back and 1 mega pixel front facing camera.

The other tablet is said to be a 10 inch size device powered with Tegra 3 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. Other specs aren’t available expect that it will sport an unusual design.

Along with the tablets, HTC is also planning to launch two new smartphones. As of now it is said that the smartphones are One X+ powered with Android and the other one 8X which runs on Windows Phone 7 operating system.

The One X+, as the name suggests seems like a more powerful version of One X smartphone. It will be powered with 1.7 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system with HTC Sense 4.5 user interface. It will sport a 5 inch HD display and will have 32 GB of onboard storage.

The HTC 8X is said to be a Windows Phone 8 based smartphone. It will be powered with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It will also have 4.3 inch HD display, 16 GB onboard storage, Beats Audio enhancement and 8 megapixel camera.
