HTC Unveils Butterfly S With Higher Specs Than HTC One

Bangalore: HTC has unveiled an upgraded version of its Butterfly, adding an ‘S’ tag to it. Dubbed as Butterfly S, the 5 inch 1080p display Smartphone comes with similar features of the current flagship HTC One, with a bigger battery and more powerful processor.

Going with the specs, the Smartphone boasts of a 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory which is expandable and a 3200 MAh attery, which is expected to prove a long backup without any compromise on the performance.

The rear camera comes in utrapixel mode just like HTC one and the front wide angle camera has a resolution of 2.1 megapixel.

The Smartphone will run on latest Android Jelly Bean with a layer of HTC’s Sense 5 UI on top. Loaded with the front facing stereo speakers carrying BoomSound, the phone will be a blessing to the video enthusiasts.

HTC has not released any information about the worldwide release of the Smartphone. It will be release in Taiwan in July with an approximate price tag of $766.
