HTC Sensation Smartphone to hit India in Q2

New Delhi: The latest HTC Sensation Smartphone which was first unveiled in London on 12th April 18, 2011 is ready to hit the Indian market soon around the second quarter of the year. The Sensation is HTC's first ever phone to feature a 1.2 GHz dual core processor supplied by Qualcomm's latest MSM8260 Snapdragon chipset and a whole new interface with the latest HTC sense 3.0 UI. Due to hardware limitations the new Sense UI 3.0 won't be supported by older HTC devices. Hence it is solely for the newest devises like HTC Flyer, Sensation and Evo 3D. HTC Flyer features a 1.5GHz processor and HTC EVO 3D features 1.2GHz processor; so it will be very well supported by HTC sense 3.0 UI. The old devises like Desire S and Incredible S will face huge software gap. This was revealed by HTC through its official twitter account. However HTC has not made clear about the type of hardware limitation. This revelation shows a huge difference between the new and old devices. This is bound to disappoint customers who have recently picked up Desire S and Incredible S as it would not be able to upgrade it to this new interface. The new interface will support many new 3D effects which make visual experience pleasing, and 3D widgets along with smart shortcuts on its new set of multi-functional lock screens including 360-degree menu carousels. The price of the Sensation is expected to be more than Rs 30,000.
