HTC Launched Desire C for 14,999


Bangalore: The smartphone HTC Desire C has been available on certain online retail websites like Flikpkart, Ebay for some time. The company has now officially launched the device in the Indian markets for 14,999. The HTC Desire C runs on Android 4.0- the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system along with HTC Sense 4.0.

This smartphone comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen and a resolution of 320 X 480. The phone runs on 600 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM and supports Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.

HTC Desire C has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash.  The phone carries an internal memory of 4 GB and expandable memory of up to 32 GB with a slot for microSD. You can also get an additional 25GB of free storage in Drop Box for two years. HTC Desire C has a battery of 1230 mAh. This smartphone is available in three different colours; red, white and black.

HTC Desire C will compete with phones like the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus and the Motorola Defy XT which falls under the same mid-range segment. Faisal Siddiqui, Country Manager, HTC India said, The HTC Desire C offers customers excellent design, easy access to content and fast connectivity – making it the perfect all round devices.

Another plus point in this phone is the integrated with Google services which offers the access to thousands of apps, games, music and movies that are available through Google Play store. The phone also boosts of powerful studio-quality sound experience that has been possible because of the combination of optimized Beats Audio. This provides user with rich, clear audio experience while playing games or listening to music.
