HTC, LG, Sony, Samsung All Making New Nexus Phone

Bangalore: This year we will witness multiple Google Nexus smartphones for major device manufacturers. It is said that the next Nexus smartphone makers are HTC, Sony, LG and Samsung, reports Digitimes.

Few days’ back we covered the news which said HTC is working on the next Nexus smartphone which will features the latest Android operating system and will also sport a 5 inch display. But now there are rumors mills saying LG is also making a new Nexus smartphone.

The rumored next LG Nexus smartphone will be similar to the recently released Optimus G smartphone. The upcoming LG Google Nexus is expected to be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-Core processor, 2GB of RAM and a True high definition IPS display. The smartphone will also sport an 8 mega pixel shooter at the back, built in battery, 8 GB to 16 GB of internal memory and unfortunately no microSD slot for expanding memory. 

If rumors are to be believed then we can expect at least two Nexus phones soon. But if more than one manufacture is coming up with new Nexus at the same time then there are possibilities that other major player like Sony and Samsung are also having new Nexus smartphones. Finally the Google’s trend of one Nexus per year seems to be fading.
