HP Launches Envy X2 Hybrid, Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook


Bangalore: IFA, 2012 at Berlin, Germany is seeing the launch of many gadgets. It is almost like raining gadgets in Berlin, but we in the gadget world aren’t complaining about the heavy rain.

HP, the American electronic and Software Company launched their gadgets that would run on Windows 8 operating system. The two gadgets launched are the Envy X2 Hybrid and the Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook.

HP Envy X2 hybrid

The Envy X2 is a thin hybrid gadget from HP. It comes with a detachable keyboard which when separated from the screen converts the device into a tablet.

The hybrid comes with an 11.6 inch IPS touch screen which has a resolution of 1366 X 768 pixels. It weights 1.4 kgs and function on Windows 8. It also comes with an 8 mega pixel HD webcam and Near Field communication (NFC) connectivity.

Envy X2 comes in two memory variants 32 GB and 64 GB. The hybrid also features Beats Audio making listening to music and watching videos a delight. HP promises the users that the gadget would give them 10 hours of battery life.
