Google's X Phone To Offer Customizable Hardware!

Bangalore: Google is coming up with Motorola X phone that allows the users to customize hardware of the device, according to AndroidandMe, citing inside information about Motorola’s upcoming devices.

Motorola X may not be just one device but a new brand that will compete with Samsung’s Galaxy. This seems to be the good move by Google since every OEM is trying to recreate what Samsung has done with Galaxy brand.

With Motorola X, customers will get chance to customize the color and hardware specs like RAM and internal storage similar to how Dell or other companies let the user to build a PC.

If you go with the rumors, the first “X Phone” will be an octo-core device, with a full core dedicated to Motorola’s new human language system. But only time will tell if this rumor is true, since the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, is a quad-core processor and it allows users to wake up their device with a voice command.

The first Motorola “X Phone” will be released around June, according to the rumors. Since Google is holding their annual developer conference in May, and many are expecting them to announce some new Android-powered devices, so one may not strike out the possibility of a June launch.

And lastly, the X line of products will be sold through an “online store” and they can be ordered from carrier retail stores. Since Apple managed to pull this off successfully, Google may do it to.
