Google to Unveil Its New Nexus Smartphones on 29 Sep


BENGALURU: September is full of events that are launching new products. Google is planning to host an event on 29th of September in San Francisco to unveil its two new Nexus devices, reports Tech2.

According to a report, the smaller version of the devices is made by LG, which is the third time the company is manufacturing a Nexus smartphone to Google. Whereas the larger version will be made by Huawei and this is the first time the company is manufacturing a smartphone for Google.

The two new phones are expected to run in Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Nexus smartphone is rumored to sport a 5.7-inch QHD screen translating to 2560 x 1440 pixels, a metal body, Snapdragon 820 SoC, and a fingerprint reader.

The rumored specifications of the new smartphone by LG will include a 3D camera along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, a screen of 5.2 inches, which will be 146.9mm high, 72.9mm wide and 8mm thick. LG will also offer a rear fingerprint scanner, a metal frame and plastic rear.

However, we have to wait until 29 of this month to confirm whether the reports are right or wrong.
