Google Nexus 7 Unveiled, Packs Better Specs, New Android 4.3


Bangalore: Google and Asus, on Wednesday unveiled the new version of their Nexus 7 tablet at an event in San Francisco; the device sports better specs than its older version and run on the latest Android, Jelly Bean 4.3.

The new Nexus 7 sports the same size at 7 inches but comes with Full HD resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. And also the tablet is almost 2 mm thinner and weighs around 50 grams less than the older version. The device will be available in three variations viz. Wi-Fi, LTE, and 3G. India is expected to get Wi-Fi and LTE supported Nexus 7.

When it comes to hardware, it is all bumped up than older Nexus 7. It is powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Pro chip and Adreno 320 graphics chip, compared to Nvidia Tegra, Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and ULP GeForce GPU.
