Google I/O 2014: Flaunt New Versions of Android


BANGALORE: Following the pathways of Apple which introduced Health kit and Home kit this month, Google is all set to kick start in health and home related gadgets this time in the Google I/O Conference. The conference involves participation of around 5000 people and focus on building web technologies, application such as Android, Chrome and more, I/O stands for ‘Innovation in the Open’.
Projection are made with the development of Chrome and Chrome OS features, on the other hand Google extends its vision to Smartwatches, Android TV, Smart Home Devices. Previously Google I/O events focused on smartphones, tablets. LG G Watch: LG G Watch packs 1.6 inch display with a resolution of 280 X 280, quad-core 787 MHz Snapdragon 400 processor implanted with an Android Wear having a extended storage capacity upto 32 GB. The spectacular watch promises a 36 hours of standby time installed with a 400 mAh battery.

Along with the Bluetooth connectivity of 4.0, the watch has excellent inbuilt features like tilt, gyro and pedometer sensors to track health and fitness functions, a step forward by Google in building dais called Google Fit. According to the recent report, the wearable device measures data like heart rate, steps and interfaces with Google’s cloud service, resulting to be a part of Google Fit Ecosystem.
