Fujitsu's 2012 Roadmap has Ultrabook, Tablets


Bangalore: Fuhitu’s plan for 2012 has been revealed which includes two new Ultrabooks with Intel’s Ivy Bridge processor, a tablet with detachable dock and a Windows 8 tablet. This information is confirmed by a Romanian site imidoresc.ro which has posted slides from a recent event.

The two new Ultrabooks having Intel’s Ivy Bridge processor will be launched by this May, and they would be among the first ones to have an Ivy Bridge chip which improves performance and battery life.

The road map also shows the lunch of a ‘slimbook’ and an ‘Android tablet’ by June. Company will release an exciting tablet in September; the tablet will be having an addition key board dock like the Asus Transformer Prime or the Lenovo IdeaTab S2-10 tablet. This tablet might be running on ‘Window 8’.

Fujitsu also plans to launch a ‘Window 8’ tablet in the last quarter of this year, according to Imidoresc.ro and Notebook Italia. There will also be some new family of desk PCs and all-in-one touchscreen PC in the last quarter by Fujitsu.
