From China with love: 10 Xiaomi smartphones in India

BANGALORE: After pulling ahead of Samsung with the Smartphone market shares, the chinese manufacturer has shifted his sights onto the Indian markets now.  The release of its ‘MI3’ was given a grand welcome with the demand it had which almost crashed the e-commerce website Flipkart and still manages to stay on top of the sales. So, now that Xiaomi has become one of the best brands here; let’s see the phones it has to offer and some of which are already in the Indian market.

# Xiaomi Redmi Note

The Xiaomi Redmi Note is a mid-range smartphone that has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and pixel density close to 267ppi. The handset is available in five colours -- pink, blue, white, green and black. The hardware specifications include an Octa-core processor clocking a speed of 1.4Ghz with a 1GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity is 8GB, which can be expandable upto 32 GB

On the camera side, it has a 13MP sensor on the back and a secondary one at the front which has a 5MP snapper. The features available on the camera are LED flash option, auto-focus, smile detection, geo-tagging, face detection, HD video recording facility and many more .It runs on the  4.2 Android Jelly Bean OS and provides connectivity options including 3G, GPRS, Bluetooth, USB port and Wi-Fi .
