Epson Launches Portable Scanner for 10,999

Bangalore: Epson introduced its first portable scanner- Epson WorkForce DS-30 in India for 10,999. The scanner is ideal for mobile worker for scanning documents on-the-go and as well as for office usages as it conserve less desk space.

The device can scan variety of items from business card to A4 sized documents. It is designed with LED light source therefore it consumes less power. This portable scanner comes with compact form factor and is packed with almost all of the software that comes with fill sized Epson scanners.

It also features a user-friendly Document Capture Pro Software which guides users step-by-step about how to scan a document and also helps users to transfer scanned documents to email or to cloud services. This software also includes; automatic document size detection and tilt correction, text enhancement, color dropout and sports a punch-hole removal tech which automatically detects and removes punch-hole marks while scanning.

The scanner is very portable weighing only 325 grams and has a sleek design. It needs only one USB connection to operate and is computable with laptop and PC.
