Dual SIM phone K406 at 2,590 launched by Karbonn


Bangalore: Karbonn Mobiles, one of the many home grown mobile manufacturing companies, has introduced its latest series of dual SIM phones, the Karbonn K406 (GSM+GSM). Priced very affordably at 2,590, the phone is marketed more as music mobile. To begin with its features, the phone has a VGA camera and video player. It boasts of the Hi-Fi Sound feature while supporting MP3 and MIDI audio formats. The K406 also packs in wireless FM radio with dedicated music keys. Connectivity wise, the phone is Bluetooth enabled and USB connected. The phone has external speakers for enhanced music experience. Other common features that are available in most of the low priced phones include mobile tracker and torch light. The external memory of the phone can be expanded up to 8GB through microSD cards. The phone gives around four hours of talk time and a standby time of 400 hours. The K406 adds to the list of ever increasing low priced, dual SIM phones in the Indian market. Will the consumers be spoilt for choice in this category or will it be the case of high brand value attracting buyers? Only time will tell.
