Bangalore: The newest of Motorola Droid series, Droid 4 has been leaked online through Droid Life. The latest report reveals the date of Droid 4 launch as December 8 this year and predicts that it will hit the market mostly as the Samsung rolls out its Galaxy Nexus.
The latest leakage in the mobile world has occurred within a couple of weeks away from Droid 4’s arrival on market. After unveiling its Droid 3 handsets, it just took six months to come up with the new generation of Droid chain. The Droid 4 pictures looked similar to Droid Razr and the only difference noted was that the ex-model has a slider out QWERTY keyboard. In the floated up images, the keyboard layout shows to be excellent as the keys are well spaced. The spaces between the keys glow as the white backlight shines.
Though it has not mentioned whether new Droid baby will lodge the same OMAP 4430 of the former Razr, the report claims that Droid 4 is functioned by a similar 1.3 GHz dual-core CPU. Along with the added Motorola features, Droid 4 will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be operated in 1.2 GHz Dual-Core Processor. Equipped with 1 GB RAM, this new successor in Droid family, allows a 16 GB SD card for more storage facility. The display of 4.0 inch qHD seems smaller than the Droid 3. Its 8 mega pixel rear camera assists up to 1080p video recording. The HD front VGA camera can be used as webcam. The VGA refers to the resolution of 640 x 480, a pretty standard camera for front facing cameras on phones.
The snapshot of the specs details suggest that the Webtop application on go. And the 1,785mAh battery seems much better as the smart actions for extending battery life and automating everyday tasks. The 4G LTE Connection is up to 10 times faster than Verizon 3G. Apart from this, Droid 4 supports GRRS, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth and Micro USB 2.0 connectivity.
The enhanced Music app will do more than just music, it will help to find out more on the similar genres, artist info, suggestions, lyrics and many more. 1080p Mirror Mode via HDMI Technology will assist for viewing on an HDTV or Monitor. Also the enhanced UI will be advanced with scrollable, resizable and interactive widgets. FIPS 140-2 Government-Grade Encryption is reportedly available for E-mail, Calendar, and Contacts same as the former Droid Razr.

Its slider design makes the appearance as a tad bit bulky. Added to its features, this Motorola Smartphone supports a world-phone radio, LTE, CDMA and GSM. It will be the first Smartphone which will set aside the access to Verizon's LTE network so far. According to the latest report the price of Motorola Droid 4 will be nearly $299.99. Motorola Droid 4 (MOTXT894) is reportedly planned to launch in all locations on December 8 and the demo units will be sent to stores prior to launch. Anyway, the new Droid 4 indicates how soon this mobile world is advancing today’s world. Droid 2 was on the market just about a year. The official details yet to come out on Droid 4.
