Dell Unveils Vostro V131

Bangalore: Dell unveiled a new laptop, Vostro V131, a product specifically designed for the business professionals. Dell Vostro V131 has a starting price of 30,000. The V131 carries Intel Core i3 and i5 processor options. Connectivity options include WWAN, WiMax, WLAN, and Bluetooth 3.0. Business users are expected to appreciate its fingerprint reader and Absolute LoJack security software. It has collaborative options for video conferencing and VoIP including a HD webcam, SRS Premium Voice Pro, digital array mics, and built-in Skype. It also features SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, a chiclet keyboard with backlit option, and convenient quick launch keys. The new laptop has a 2 GB memory, a 320 GB hard drive, and a 13.3" 1366x768 LED display with anti-glare. The device also promises to be faster and is expected to deliver a battery life of 9.5 hours with a 6- cell removable battery. The company has also packed to launch several other goodies with the new laptop V131 starting 1 September. The "My Business Toolkit" is a combination of software suite and services to take care of the IT demands of small business.
