Cisco launches Linksys E4200 wireless router

Mumbai: Cisco introduced the latest version of the Linksys E- series, Linksys E4200. It has a new and innovative design which offers network speed of up to 450mbps. This model is ideal for home entertainment which delivers the power that is needed for HD video streaming. It can also be connected to all network devices like laptops, smartphones, iPad, internet enabled TVs, Blu- ray players and game consoles. The Linksys E4200 is equipped with 3x3 antenna technology that delivers up to 450mbps on the 5ghz radio band. There is SpeedBoost technology that is enabled in the model which delivers additional range to the home entertainment and is provided in the entire house. They also have Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology that uses walls to amplify the signal. Like all the E-series models, E4200 also has the Cisco Connect software enabled in them. This helps the consumers to set-up their new device in three easy steps and makes the wireless network easy. Linksys E4200 is also equipped with a USB port that allows consumers to connect external hard drives like tablets, PCs, laptops, directly to the router. Cisco Connect software has advanced security along with broadband speed meter and optional settings. It helps in easily adding new devices. It works with Windows and Mac computers.
