BenQ Launches Two Educational Projectors in India


Bangalore: BenQ launched two education oriented projectors LX60ST and LW61ST in India. The company claims that these two projectors are world’s first short-throw education projectors featuring its very own mercury-free BlueCore light engine for energy efficiency, projection performance, saves money and also helps the environment at the same time.

The BenQ LW61ST is a safer, smarter and environmentally friendly choice for schools. With BlueCore light engine, it utilizes the unparalleled qualities of a laser light source to achieve optimized energy efficiency and also incorporates the BlueCore-enhanced SmartEco advanced technology to reduce power consumption by up to 90 percent.

These two projectors features 80000:1 ultra-high contrast ratio for outstanding images and crisp clear content, instant on/off capability and manual brightness level adjustment to suit different surroundings and automatically lowers the projector brightness to 10 percent when no display source is detected for over three minutes.

Both projectors; LX60ST and LW61ST are available in India for 145,000 and 150,000 respectively.
