Asus Zenfone 2 Launched In India With Prices Starting From 12,999


BANGALORE: The wait is finally over, as Asus’s prestigious flagship Zenfone 2, the world’s first 4GB RAM phone has arrived in the Indian market with the prices starting from 12,999 for the base model and 22,999 for the top variant. Flipkart the leading e-commerce had listed the phones before their arrival and also had put up a countdown for it, reports IndianExpress.

The Zenfone 2’s three variants include – ZE 551ML, ZE 550 ML and ZE 500 CL out of which the first two models will be on sale in India. Asus will not be launching the Asus Zenfone ZE 500 CL in India, which features a 5-inch display and also ZE 551 ML variant with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage will not be released in India.

The Asus Zenfone2 ZE551 ML with 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage is priced at 22, 999 while the ZE 551 ML with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at 19, 999, whereas the ZE 551 ML with 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage is priced at 14, 999. The low priced model is the Asus Zenfone2 ZE 550 ML with 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage is priced at 12, 999.

The difference between the ZE 551 ML (2GB RAM and 16 GB storage) and ZE 550 ML (2GB and 16GB storage) is the display where the 551 ML comes with 1080p HD display and the 550 ML has 720p HD display.

The similarity between all the variants is the 3000mAh battery, 4G support, the camera section and the Android OS with Zen UI.
