Asus Unveils PadFone Infinity With 2.2 GHz Processor


Bangalore: Asus released its first PadFone Infinity Smartphone com tablet at MWC 2013, Barcelona. And now after six months, the company has come up with a new PadFone Infinity which sports better specs and UI than its previous version. The device was unveiled at an event in Taipei.

The new version too comes with 5 inch display at full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, and can also be converted into a 10.1-inch tablet using a doc; there’s not much change in this department. But a peek inside its hood shows a powerful 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 320 GPU as opposed to 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 chip.

While the first version lacked microSD card support, the new one comes with a slot to further expand the memory. However the new Infinity is available in 16GB and 32GB, compared to 32GB and 64GB before.
