Asus Launches 32GB Google Nexus 7 In India

Bangalore: There is some good news for Google Nexus fans. After the launch of 16 GB Google Nexus 7 tablet in India, Asus launched the 32GB Google Nexus 7. The company is launching a 3G+ Wi-Fi, as well as a Wi-Fi only model in India.

The cost of the 3G version is 21,999 and the Wi-Fi variant is available in India for 18,999. This great deal for a 16GB model as the iPad mini with Wi-Fi only, starts at 21,900. The 16GB Google Nexus that was launched is priced at 15,599 on Google’s Play Store.

The 32GB Nexus 7 boasts of double the space as iPad mini. It comes in 3G. The iPad mini with 3G is priced at 27,900.

Nexus 7 with a 7 inch display of 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and 216 ppi is the first one to have a 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core Processor, which includes a 12 core GPU. It has a 1GB of RAM. The operating system is a pure Google version of Android Jelly Bean 4.1, upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.2, last November when Nexus 10 was launched by Google. The tablet has a 1.2 mega pixel rear camera.

The device has a 4325 mAh battery and includes NFC functionality as well.

According to tech2.com, Nexus 7 pieces will hit the Asus retail outlets in a week’s time. Croma and Vijay are other stores to get the devices very soon.
