Apple iPad Mini Now in India at 26,990

Bangalore: Lots of Apple fans in India were disappointed as India did not feature in the list of countries that would see the official launch of the iPad Mini. But the disappointment was short lives as the Mini has been spotted in the online shopping portal Tradus.

The iPad Mini is available in 3 memory variants; 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB which come with the price tag; 26,990, 34,990 and 43,490.

The iPad Mini comes with a 7.9 inch screen with a screen resolution of 1024 X 768. Surprisingly the Mini does not have Retina Display quality, like the new iPad.

The Mini is powered by a dual-core A5 processor chip and runs on iOS operating system. It comes with a 1.2 megapixel FaceTime camera with HD, a 5 megapixel rear camera and 4G LTE enabled as well. According to Apple the iPad will provide the user with 10 hours of battery life with a single charge. It comes with the new Lightning conductor that powers the iPhone 5. The device is also lighter, thinner and provides more screen space than the other competitor tablets.

A lot of people feel that the pricing of Mini is slightly on the higher side when compared to Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire HD which come for 11,000.
