All You Need to Know About Smartphone Cameras

Bangalore: Smartphone camera technology has taken a giant leap forward with the introduction of the incredible 41 megapixel marvel, the Nokia 808 PureView. Just few days ago Samsung launched its most anticipated quad-core smartphone Galaxy S III. Before the announcement of S III, rumors floated around the web that it will sport a 12 MP camera, but it came up with an 8MP camera.

The 8 MP camera is pretty standard for a high-end smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus also had a 5 MP camera. It doesn’t mean that a 5 MP camera can’t take good pictures as the 8 MP one, but the fact is 5 MP just doesn’t sounds as good as 8 MP, even if the camera produces wonderful shots.
