ASUS' Eee tablet to debut in early 2011


New Delhi: The tablet from ASUS was at first unveiled at Computex in June this year under the name EeePad. After that there were not many talks on the same. However, news has surfaced that the renamed EeePad will be launched as the ASUS Eee Note or Digital Note at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in early 2011. The Eee tablet will debut in Indian markets by March 2011. The Eee tablet will be released with an eight inch display screen running on Android's Gingerbread operating system. The device can be used for reading text and its design also lets for highly accurate drawing and note-taking. The device has a grayscale display and integrates a 2MP camera as well. The battery lasts for 10 hours on one charge. The price of the tablet is expected to be about $600.
