A Quick Snapshot of CoolPad Mega 3 and the Coolpad Note 3S


BENGALURU: With the ever-rising competition among major smartphone players in the market, manufacturers are now focusing on embedding their products with the leading-edge technologies available. One such product is launched by Coolpad, a Chinese brand targeting entirely on audiences within the budget segments. Coolpad unveiled its latest offerings––Coolpad Mega 3 and Coolpad Note 3S smartphones in India.

The Coolpad Mega 3 will be launched highlighting the unique triple-SIM feature. The Smartphone is ideal for the user looking for more than two SIM cards. A Coolpad executive also claims that, as major telecom carriers are offering exclusive offers, the device will give users an opportunity to try various offers without bothering about any limitations. Looking into the specifications, the Coolpad Mega 3 boasts a minimalistic design with a 5.5inch HD (720*1080-pixel) IPS display and a 269ppi pixel density. As of processor, the device sports Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Coolpad’s CoolUI skin and a battery backup of 3050mAh. The phone also features 8-megapixel rear and front cameras.

On the other hand, Coolpad Note 3S is the revamped version of Coolpad Note 3 and features a 5.5-inch HD (720*1080 pixel) display. Additionally, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, also supported by a 3GB RAM. The storage front includes 32 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB via a memory card. Furthermore, the Coolpad Note 3S offers a stunning 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for better selfies.

As we compare the two budget Smartphones, the price variations for the Coolpad Mega 3 is Rs 6,999 and Coolpad Note 3S is 9,999 and is expected to be launched on December 7.
