9.7-inch Lenovo Android Tab Reaching India Soon

Bangalore: Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 which will be having Android 4.0, WiFi, Bluetooth, and HDMI port is coming soon in India. The tablet has passed FCC (Federal communication commission) testing and is expected to be release by the end of March in U.S. market. The launch date for Indian market is not disclosed, but it’s sure that the wait will be short.

IdeaTab S2109 sports a 9.7-inch 4:3 aspect ratio IPS display, which is a unique feature in the Android tablet market. The device is powered Texas Instruments OMAP processor and runs of the latest Android 4.0 OS. It comes with four speakers with SRS technology, a hot-swappable micro SD slot, a huge 2.5A input at 5V indicating a 12.5W adapter for fast charging and for connectivity it supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, HDMI port and USB port, but doesn’t have a 3G SIM slot.

Indian market is likely to see this tablet in the month of April with a price tag of approximately 23000.
