The Microsoft’s come back to Smartphone market after a year with unique features that will stand out among other flagship devices. Windows Hello

Microsoft has introduced new approach for unlocking the device with an iris scanner. The new Lumia users don’t need to keep their thumb on the designated area. The iris scanner is dubbed as ‘Windows Hello’ and it unlocks your device without any extra effort.

Windows 10 Continuum

Generally, Smartphones are handheld computers, with a different operating system and interface. But the two new Lumia handsets can literally transformer itself into a fully functional Windows 10 PC when it is connected to a monitor along with a mouse and keyboard, using the Microsoft Display Dock.

As soon as the phone is connected to monitor and primary input devices, the monitor will project the Windows 10 desktop interface along with Start menu and other desktop utilities. Another amazing factor in this, the phone can be used while it is connected and working on the other monitor.

Liquid Cooling

Liquid cooling is a technology to cool down the internals of a CPU, which is mostly seen in the desktop PCs. The firm says that both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL come equipped with "tablet-class liquid cooling," as most of the Android Smartphones were faced with heating up issue.

Also the new Snapdragon 810 processor is criticized for its heating issues; hence Microsoft has taken care of it by installing a liquid cooler inside the phone.

QHD Displays

The new Huawei-made Nexus 6P and Samsung’s flagship Smartphones such as Galaxy S6 Edge and Note 5 sports QHD displays and those are considered to be the best display in the Smartphone market right now. Likewise, the novel Lumia 950 and 950 XL will feature the best QHD display with more than 400 pixels per inch.

RAM

For the first time, Lumia handsets will be powered by a 3GB RAM alongside new Snapdragon 808 and 810 processors will make the new Lumia Smartphone four folds better than its predecessors.

High-end cameras

Cameras in Lumia were one of the main reason most of the consumers preferred it. The same goes with the new Lumia 950 and 950 XL as it features 20MP rear PureView shooter with triple-LED and a wide-angle 5MP front-facing camera. The 20MP primary camera comes paired with optical image stabilization capability and can record 4K videos.

Battery

In contrast with previous Lumia Smartphones, the newly launched Lumia 950 and 950 XL houses bigger battery. For the first time, Lumia features more than 3,000mAh battery and it is expected to last longer than the predecessors.

USB Type-C

Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL also feature USB Type-C port much like the new generation Nexus Smartphones and OnePlus 2. The USB Type-C port offers fast data transfer along with quick-charging; it is said to provide 50 percent of battery with 30 minutes of charge time.
