1. Sony CyberShot DSC-RX 1

Sony CyberShot DSC-RX 1 packs a 24 mega pixel full frame image sensor which is larger than traditional point-and-shoot camera. The RX 1 is also claimed to the world’s first full frame Exmor CMOS sensor compact camera.

In simple words the sensor found in RX1 is much larger than most entry level Digital-SLR cameras. This shows the company’s engineering strength to pack larger image sensor in a compact size.

The camera not only has a larger sensor but it has another impressive feature. It has an extremely wide f/2.0 aperture and the maximum ISO setting of 25,600. This combination usually results in a very slow depth of field in macro modes.

The RX1 can also shoot 1080p video at 60 frames per second or 24 frames per second. It also features variety of shooting modes like manual exposure controls, RAW shooting and automatic mode as well. Moreover it also has a control ring around the lens for adjusting aperture, pop-up flash and ISO setting.

The device is not yet available in the market at present. As its specs and technology it seems it won’t be budget friendly.
