Bangalore: “Smartphone” is a word which you hear a hundred times everyday. But have you wondered what makes a smartphone so smart? How is it different from a cell phone?

Smartphone is more of a relative word. In the 1950s even a trunk dialer phone was smart. It enabled people to do what they never thought would be possible. But smartphones today are those devices which tell your Facebook friends where you are headed to this weekend, which recognise your fondness for soft rock and play a Westlife song, which manages your daily expenses and many more. In a nutshell, the smartness of a phone is a function of how much ahead is it of our thoughts.

In the wave of smartphones, there have been many which were behind their time. The features they had were poor. We bring you a list of top 5 dumbest “smart”phones this generation has ever had.

5. Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

This phone is the fusion of gamepad and Android phone. It lets you enjoy mobile internet, but the resolution that the screen project is very poor!

3: what about Micromax A60
1)short battery life
2)if 2 apps opened and you have to receive call then u have to first close those apps and then talk or else fone will hang between conversation and another couple of mins to restart fone.
3) Marketed as AF (Auto focus) camera even on the box it was written as AF Camera, after inquiring got rubbish response it was printing mistake and they didn't bother even to remove it.
4) some time fone auto switch off while SD card is re-read by fone (special feature of fone it tries to read SD card 4-5 times in an har :D )
5)Low internal memory, low processing speed
6) Dial from call list to A contact it will Dial to C contact in sequence, touch screen flaws
LIST is long for now this much is sufficient
they are putting effort in development it seems so that's y instead of testing themselves they launch in market and customer test for them and give feed back (Complaint)PROVED by so many and frequent launches by this company Called MICROMAX they have the last laugh always
and last but not least for service within warranty period u have to run to rarely existing authorized service center again and again i did same and got replaced my hand set after going to consumer forum
