4 Watches that are set for Android Wear 2.0 Upgrade

BENGALURU: Earlier this month Google announced its biggest upgrade till date with Android wear 2.0. The previous version, even though it had a lot of positive reviews, did not have as many takers as the company would have thought for. In order to rectify any glitches and making it more user-friendly and attractive, the company worked throughout the year and has now come out bearing fruits of its hard work. In its build, the user gets new ways to navigate Android Wear including an emphasis on using the physical button on the side of a watch as a back button instead of the swipe. Swipes from the home screen also work differently, launching the user into the watch face selectorwhen done from side-to-side. The UI for notifications is no longer styled like a card and is instead a more fluid Material Design layout with full-screen pages.

With such attractive upgrades, the Android Wear 2.0 is about to be launched on four devices before the rest. Here we look at those wearable which have earned this distinct honor from Google.

Moto 360:

First up – it’s Moto 360. The Moto 360 is the first on Google’s priority list and it will be the first to get the upgrade. And although the device is a little aged when compared to the thousands of devices available in the market, it still boasts off 1.56 inch display and a heart rate monitor that can’t be rivaled by most devices.
