Bangalore: Micromax has stopped all pre-bookings for its flagship quadcore Canvas HD A116 which is due to release in the first week of March.

The lucky few who have already placed their orders will receive their handsets in 24-25 working days with Google’s latest OS Android Jellybean 4.2.

The item is not available in any of the major online retail stores like Flipkart, Snapdeal, eBay and none of the e-commerce platforms are taking pre-orders for the device either.

The device was previously available in the official Micromax site but they have closed the pre-orders now and placed a 3 dimensional view of the Smartphone but there is great news to offer. Two websites are still taking pre-orders for the handset and one of them is also offering a good discount.

saholic.com is offering  Micromax Canvas HD A116 at 13,999 with an attractive discount of 7%. The site promises a free delivery within 6 business days of the arrival of the handset in the store. Currently the site only displays a white handset.

junglee.com the Indian subsidiary of Amazon.com also displays a seller in India called kaunsa.com which is offering the Smartphone at 15,999. This site also only displays a white handset and has listed the product as “In Stock - 21 Days.”

With the formal release of the handset in both online and conventional retail stores, this Smartphone is bound to create quite the buzz.
