Asus Padfone 2 is the successor of PadFone. The new device is slimmer than its predecessor and released in the month of October.

The gigantic smartphone comes with a 4.7 inch Super IPS+ panel which supports a resolution of 1,280 X 800 pixels. The smartphone is powered by quite a fast 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor backed by 2GB of RAM and functions on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. But the company says that the device would soon get an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jellybean operating system.

It is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera that would allow the user to make video calls. You have to use a micro SIM card as the regular sized ones are not compactable.

The PadFone 2 Tablet sports a 10.1 inch IPS touch screen which supports a resolution of 1,280 X 800 pixels. The company has made a change in the battery, which was 6,600 mAh earlier has been brought down to 5,000 mAh battery.
