Bangalore:  It is the time of the year in Berlin where IFA 2012 has kicked off. IFA has always been the venue for announcements of gadgets from device manufactures all around the world. At IFA 2012 Samsung launched the world’s first Windows 8 Phone, Sony added three new smartphones under is Xperia range and many competing companies have unveiled their much awaited gadgets. We also have the upcoming event of Apple which will showcase the iPhone 5 and the Nokia-Microsoft event which will raise the curtains from the widely rumored Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820. Here is a roundup of all the upcoming smartphones which will hit the market soon.



1. Samsung Galaxy Note 2



Price: Yet To Be Disclosed



At IFA 2012, Samsung unveiled its Note 2. The Galaxy Note 2 is a hybrid of smartphone and tablet which is popularly known as “Phablet”. This phablet has a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD display touch screen with a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad core CPU and is backed by 2 GB RAM.  Note 2 comes with an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 1.9 mega pixel front end camera which will allow the user to make and receive video calls. The Note will function on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.



The device comes in two memory variants 16 GB and 32 GB along with a slot for a microSD card that allows the user to expand the memory up to 32 GB. To support all its functions the device is powered by a 3100 mAh battery.



Galaxy Note 2 comes with a stylus S Pen and an S Note app that will allow you to take notes as well as draw in an extremely easy manner. With the new S Pen note taking will indeed be fun!



The Note is expected to hit the markets in the month of October 2012. Once it is launched it will be available in 128 countries. It will available in two color options; Marble White or Titanium Gray.
