Bangalore: Several studies around the world have highlighted the risk of brain cancer due to excessive usage of mobile phones. Mobile users may be at increased risk of brain cancer, says experts form WHO (World Health Organization). The WHO also recommends mobile users to make use of texting and hands free devices for reducing the radiation contact. CNET recently released a list of phones with high radiation level. The list includes major smartphone companies like Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Blackberry.

SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) is the way of measuring the rate at which energy is absorbed by the body when exposed to a radio frequency (RF) produced by mobile phones. Here is a list of some smartphones which comes with highest radiation which can harm you.

1. Motorola Bravo

The Motorola Bravo is the highest radiation phone. The device comes with 3.7 inch WVGA touchscreen, powered by 800 MHz Cortex-A8 processor, 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 2.2 operating system. It also comes with 1.3 GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 32 GB via microSD card and for connectivity it has GPRS, EDGE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0 and also supports 3G.
