10 Cool Tablets to Hit the Stores

Bangalore: Speculations, announcements and unveiling of tablets are happening all around. The rumors of iPad Mini have resurfaced again and this time the rumors are much stronger than before. It’s time that we leave aside the rumors and come up with a list of ten tablets that will definitely hit the market by the end of this year.

1. Acer Iconia Tab W510

Price: Estimates Between 33,000 to 45,000

Acer announced at Computex that it would soon launch its Windows 8 tablet called Iconia Tab W510. At the first glance the keyboard reminds us of that of Asus’s Transformer. But that is not the case; the keyboard with the Acer table has a unique feature. You can flip open the keyboard in such a way that it functions as a stand for the tablet. This tablet falls in the 10 inch category. It has an IPS panel and if the company is to be believed it can run for up to 18 hours with a single charge. 

The exact time of shipment hasn’t been mentioned, but Acer Iconia Tab W510 is expected to be out as soon as Windows 8 is made available in the market. So we can expect the tablet to be out by the fall of 2012.
